Eugene Appliance Repair LLC strives to provide transparent and fair policies. Please review the following information regarding our diagnostic fees, deposits, refunds, and appointment cancellations.

Diagnostic Fee

A standard diagnostic fee of $40 is charged for each service call. This fee covers the technician’s time to assess your appliance or HVAC system and diagnose the problem.

  • The diagnostic fee is credited toward the repair cost if you approve the repair.
  • If you choose not to proceed with the repair after receiving the estimate, the diagnostic fee is retained as payment for the technician’s time and travel.
  • Additional travel or destination charges may apply for service calls outside our standard service area.

Special-Order Parts Deposits

Some repairs require parts that must be specially ordered and are not available in stock.

  • A deposit may be required before a special-order part is placed.
  • Once a special-order part has been ordered, the deposit is non-refundable, as the part is procured specifically for your repair.
  • If you have questions about whether a part is a special order, please ask the technician before approving the order.

Completed Repairs

Payment for completed repairs is due at the time of service. If you believe a repair was not performed correctly, please contact us promptly. Warranty claims are handled under our Warranty Policy — we will return to diagnose and correct any covered issue at no additional charge within the warranty period.

Appointment Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change.

  • There is no cancellation fee for canceling or rescheduling an appointment.
  • We kindly ask that you provide advance notice whenever possible so we can offer the time slot to another customer.
